Terms and Conditions of the Google Pay Mobile Wallet 1% Cash Rebate Program.

  1. This Reap Google Pay 1% Rebate Programme (“Programme”) is offered by Reap Technologies Limited (“Reap”) to Eligible Customers from 1 July 2023 until 31 July 2023 or terminated by Reap (“Programme Period”), whichever is earlier.

  2. This Programme is open and applicable to all Reap Card cardholders holding a valid and existing Reap Card during the Programme Period who meets the following criteria:

    1. Reap Card cardholders’ Card Account is of good standing, is not delinquent, voluntarily or involuntarily closed or terminated or suspended for any reason, and is conducted in a proper or satisfactory manner;

    2. Have a Google Pay account and have successfully undergone the Google Pay Card Registration process;

    3. Is not part of the Reap Card Issuing Service directly with Reap as a Platform Provider; and

    4. Is not a permanent or contractual employees, personnel, contractors, officers, directors, advisors, consultants or any affiliates of an excluded organisation that is determined by Reap at our sole discretion;


      (collectively referred to as “Eligible Customers”).

  3. For the purposes of this Programme:

    Qualifying Transactions” shall mean any transactions made on a contactless or in-person basis only via Google Pay with transaction dates falling within, and successfully posted at the time of the fulfilment, within the relevant Programme Period and shall exclude any of the following transactions or organisations as determined by Reap in its absolute discretion from time to time, including but not limited to:

    1. Bulk payments for any events tickets (including but not limited to, any tickets for the entry to music concerts, performing & visual arts, sporting events and/or any other events as may be determined by Reap from time to time);

    2. Balance transfers, fund transfers, cash advances, late charges and any fees charged by Reap;

    3. Any unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions;

    4. Any other categories of transactions that Reap may designate and exclude from time to time at its sole discretion, and

    5. Any of the following excluded organisation as determined by the merchant category codes (MCC) from VISA:

Eligible Customers are required to spend via Google Pay a minimum of $100 Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) in Qualifying Transactions (“Qualifying Spend”) in a calendar month to receive 1% Cash Rebates (as defined below), subject to a maximum monthly Qualifying Spend of HKD$500,000 and a maximum Qualifying Spend of HKD$50,000 per Qualifying Transaction (“Monthly Qualifying Spend Limit”).

  5. Only Applicable To Eligible Customers With A United States Dollars (USD) Card Account: If the Eligible Customers’ Card Account is specified as United States Dollars (USD), the Eligible Customers are required to spend via Google Pay a minimum of USD $13 in Qualifying Transactions (“Qualifying Spend”) in a calendar month to receive 1% Cash Rebates (as defined below), subject to a maximum monthly Qualifying Spend of USD$65,100 and a maximum Qualifying Spend of USD$6,510 per Qualifying Transaction (“Monthly Qualifying Spend Limit”).

  6. All Qualifying Spend made in any currency other than Hong Kong Dollars (“HKD”) or United States Dollars (“USD”) shall be converted into HKD or USD, as the case may be, and the transaction amount posted in the Eligible Customer’s Card Account less any internal Reap’s foreign currency conversion fees or commissions (if any), will be considered as the amount for the purpose of determining the Cash Rebates.

  7. Cash Rebates shall refer to the cash rebates credited to the Eligible Customer’s relevant Card Account in accordance with the terms of this Programme which may be used to offset the Eligible Customer’s Card Account debits or any outstanding statement balances. Such Cash Rebates cannot be transferred or withdrawn as cash or used to offset any payments such as fund transfers, tax payments or any financial charges and fees (statutory or otherwise). All Cash Rebates shall be credited to the Eligible Customer’s Card Account on a quarterly basis following which the Monthly Qualifying Spend Limit is met, and shall be computed based on 2 decimal places in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  8. Reap reserves the absolute right to determine whether a transaction qualifies as a Qualifying Transaction and/or if any Eligible Customer has fulfilled the relevant eligibility criteria under this Programme. In the event that any transaction posted to the Eligible Customer’s Card Account is subsequently cancelled, voided, disputed, refunded or reversed for any reason (“Cancelled Amount”), the Cancelled Amount shall be deducted from the aggregate amount of Qualifying Transactions made by the Eligible Customer in that calendar month.

  9. In the event that Reap, at its sole discretion, has determined that Cash Rebates have been irregularly or wrongly awarded to an Eligible Customer, Reap reserves the absolute right to claw back the Cash Rebates or to automatically debit from the Eligible Customer’s Card Account the equivalent value of the Cash Rebates awarded under this Programme and terminate the cardholder’s eligibility to participate in this Programme without liability, and/or suspend the Eligible Customer’s Card Account for investigation without any prior notice.

  10. The Eligible Customer’s Card Account must be at good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by Reap in its sole discretion at the time of crediting the Cash Rebates. In the event that the relevant Card Account is terminated or suspended for any reason whatsoever before the Cash Rebates is credited, Reap reserves the right to cancel the Cash Rebates entitled and not to credit such Cash Rebates.

  11. Reap reserves the right to revise or vary the terms of this Programme and/or to cancel or withdraw the Cash Rebates or this Programme at any time without prior notice to you. In the event of a dispute in regards to this Programme, you acknowledge that the decision of Reap shall be final and binding and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained. You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such cancellation, withdrawal or invalidation.

  12. These terms and conditions shall supplement and be read in conjunction with the Google Pay Terms and Conditions and shall collectively govern this Programme. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these terms and the Google Pay Terms and Conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail in so far as they relate to this Programme.

  13. All terms and references used in these terms and conditions and which are defined or construed in the Google Pay Terms and Conditions and/or the Reap Card Program Account Agreement but are not defined or construed in these terms and conditions shall have the same meaning and construction in these terms and conditions.

  14. Google and the Google logo are trademarks of Google Inc., registered in the U.S and other countries. “Google Pay” are trademarks of Google Inc.
