Local Payment Routes for SGD, EUR, and GBP

Edited

We’re rolling out local payment routes for SGD, EUR, and GBP to eligible clients. These routes offer faster settlement and lower fees compared to SWIFT. If you're eligible, the local option will appear automatically at checkout — no setup is needed.

Summary

  • Rollout is happening in phases

  • SGD via FAST, EUR via SEPA, and GBP via FPS

  • Local routes offer faster settlement and lower fees than SWIFT

Rollout Plan

We’re enabling these routes in stages:

  1. Now: Available to selected clients with existing recipients in SGD, EUR, or GBP

  2. Next: Automatically enabled for all eligible clients

  3. Going forward: Enabled by default for all new eligible clients

Eligibility is based on the payout currency and the recipient’s country. The route will appear automatically when available — no setup needed.

What’s Changing

When sending payments in SGD, EUR, or GBP, you’ll now see a local option alongside SWIFT if your recipient is supported. For most existing recipients, you can use this route right away. In some cases, you may need to create a new recipient.

Local payout options are shown automatically at checkout when available — no action needed on your side.
