How to make a Reap Card repayment via bank transfer

In this article, you will learn how you can repay your Reap card statement by making a fiat bank transfer, without any additional fees.
Step-by-step guide
Navigate to Reap Card > Repayment and click Make Repayment
In the repayment flow, select "Bank transfer"
You will then see the bank account information to make your repayment (you can find all the banking details at the end of this document):
for Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) accounts, you will see the relevant FPS info
for United States Dollars (USD) accounts, you will see bank account information
Then process to make the bank transfer from your bank.
Pro-tip: Please make sure to include the reference ID that is provided in the comments/details of your transfer. This will help us process your repayment and attribute the funds way faster.Once you have completed the transfer, click on the "I have transferred" button to create a notification for our team to begin the reconciliation process.

FAQ
How fast can I expect my repayment to be reconciled?
Our Finance Team will reconcile the repayment within 1-3 working days. You will receive a notification once the repayment is completed, and the repayment status will be updated as "completed" on your dashboard.
How can I speed up the reconciliation process?
Including the Reference ID in your transfer details and attaching a proof of transfer during the flow will significantly increase the processing time down to almost T+0!
What happens if I send the wrong currency?
If you have sent a currency different from the ones your account is in, please let us know at hello@reap.global in order to ensure an efficient process.
My repayment is not reconciled yet, what should I do?
If you didn't see the repayments reconciled in time, please email hello@reap.global with a proof of transfer and the following information so that we can follow up with the team appropriately:
The name of the entity making the payment
The amount being sent
The bank name from which the transfer is made
How will I know if my repayment has been reconciled?
Once a repayment is reconciled, a new line is generated on the Reap Card's Transactions page. You will also receive a notification via email.
Who is responsible for the bank handling charges?
Please note that any handling charges imposed by the banks are the payer's responsibility and won't be covered by Reap.
Can I use USD to settle my HKD Reap Card balance?
No, unfortunately, you cannot use USD to settle your HKD Reap Card balance. Please ensure that you are making payments in the correct currency corresponding to your card balance. If your Reap Card balance is in HKD, it should be settled using HKD. Any transactions attempting to use USD to pay an HKD balance will not be successful.
Can I make a repayment using a third party provider?
To avoid delays, please ensure that the bank account holder is the same as your registered entity in Reap. Reap reserves the right to reject repayments made from unapproved sources. Please note that we strictly do not support third-party repayment.
