If you would like to learn about how to set up Time-based restrictions, you can skip to the second part of this article.

Step 1: To allow or block certain types of transactions to be made on a Reap Card, you can go to Cards tab after logging into Reap dashboard. Click on the card you would like to set a spend control for.

Step 2: In the side panel that shows the card details, click Edit card, then turn on the toggle for Category restrictions.

Step 3: After switching on the Category restrictions toggle, you can select one or more spend categories to Allow or Block for your Reap Card. Click Save to confirm the changes.

Step 4: After setting up category restrictions for the Reap Card, you can click on the card to check the Spend restrictions on the card details panel. If you need to update the card's restrictions, click Edit card.

If you want to further customize each spend category, you can modify the categorization of merchants. For example, Nike (generally categorized as Meals and Entertainment) might be considered a "Supplier" for a sports store.

Go to Transactions tab and find a transaction with the merchant you want to modify the category.

When you change the category, you may tick the checkbox - which means all future transactions of this merchant type will have the updated category.

Step 1: To restrict the time of day your Reap Card can be used, enable Time-based restrictions.

Step 2: Once this restriction is enabled, you may input the start and end time of when you want your Reap Card to be used. For example, you may restrict the spending between 12PM and 1:30PM, as to restrict it to lunch-time spends.

Step 3: After setting up Time-based restrictions for Reap Card, you can click on the card to check the Spend restrictions on the card details panel. If you need to update the card's restrictions, click Edit card.
