When your customers pay you today, the money goes to your bank first. Then you move it to Reap before your team can spend it. That's an extra transfer, and often a few days of waiting.

Receive Payments removes that step. Send your customer a payment link from your Business Account. They pay by bank transfer, and the money is added to your Reap Card collateral, ready to use.

How it works

1. Send a payment link

Choose the customer, enter the amount and due date, and attach your invoice. Share the link however you like: by email, in a chat, or next to your usual invoice.

You collect in the currency of your Reap Card account. If your card account is in USD, you collect in USD only. If it's in HKD, you collect in HKD only.

2. Your customer pays by bank transfer

They open the link on their phone or computer. No Reap account, no sign-up. They see what they owe and where to send it, and pay from their own bank. HKD payments go through FPS and USD payments through CHATS, so money moves fast. USD payments by SWIFT are coming soon, so customers outside Hong Kong will be able to pay you too.

3. The money is ready to spend

Reap matches each payment to its request and adds it, minus the fee, to your Reap Card collateral, ready to use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my customer need a Reap account?

No. They open the link and pay by bank transfer from their own bank.

How can my customer pay?

By local bank transfer in Hong Kong: FPS for HKD and CHATS for USD. USD SWIFT is coming soon, for customers paying from banks outside Hong Kong.

Which currencies can I collect?

Only the currency of your Reap Card account. If your card account is in USD, you collect in USD only. If it's in HKD, you collect in HKD only.

Where does the money go?

Every payment you receive is added, minus the fee, to your Reap Card collateral, ready to use.

What if my customer pays only part of the amount?

Each payment is credited as it arrives, and you can see what's still outstanding.

How much does it cost?

We'll share pricing with you before you turn Receive Payments on.

Who can I collect from?

Receive Payments is for payments owed to your own business by customers you work with directly. You can't use it to collect on behalf of another business.

Who has access?

At first, a small group of Business Account clients picked from the waitlist. We'll open it to more businesses over time.

Why don't I see Receive payments in my dashboard?

Receive Payments is only available to businesses incorporated in certain countries. If you don't see Receive payments in your dashboard sidebar, it's because it isn't available in your business's country of incorporation.

Can I use it in the mobile app?

Not at launch. Receive Payments is available on the Reap web dashboard.
