Reap Treasury is your central hub for managing funds across your Reap account. From one page you can deposit funds, distribute them to the right balance, and shift money between Card collateral, Reap Pay, and General as your needs change.

Understanding your Treasury balances
Treasury organizes your funds into three distinct balances. Each one serves a different purpose within your Reap account.

What it does |
| Card | Holds collateral that backs your Reap Card credit limit. Depositing here increases the amount your team can spend on their cards. |
| Reap Pay | Funds available for making payments — bill payments, vendor transfers, and other outgoing transactions via Reap Pay. |
| General | A flexible holding account for unallocated funds. Park money here, then move it to Card or Reap Pay when you're ready. |
Transferring funds between balances
Once your Treasury has a balance, you can redistribute funds across Card, Reap Pay, and General without making an external deposit. This is useful when you want to move unallocated funds from General into Card to increase your credit limit, or top up Reap Pay from your General balance.
- Go to Reap Treasury in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click the Move Funds button in the top-right corner. (This button becomes active once you have a balance in at least one account.)

Select the source balance (where funds are coming from) and the destination balance (where they should go). The following transfer directions are supported:

- Enter the amount and confirm the move.
💡 The Move Funds button is greyed out when all balances are at zero. Add funds to at least one balance first. Discover how to add funds from How to Add Funds to your Reap Account
Viewing fund movement history
Every deposit and internal transfer is recorded in the fund movement history at the bottom of the Treasury page. Use the tabs to filter by balance type.

Use Filters to narrow results by date or transaction type, and Export to download a CSV.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I move funds from Card back to General?
Moving funds out of Card is not currently supported. Card can only receive funds — you can transfer money into Card from General or Reap Pay, but not the other way around. If you need to redistribute funds, use General or Reap Pay as your source.
Does moving funds from Card affect my credit limit?
Yes. Your Reap Card credit limit is backed by your Card balance. Moving funds out of Card will reduce your available credit limit accordingly.
Is there a minimum for internal fund movements?
No. Minimums apply only to external deposits (2 USDC/USDT for stablecoins). Internal moves between balances have no minimum.
Who can add or move funds?
Treasury actions require admin or finance permissions within your Reap organisation. If you don't see Treasury or the Move Funds button, ask your organisation's administrator to review your role.
