How autopay works
Your statement generates on the 1st of each month. On the 2nd, Reap deducts the full statement balance from your highest-value collateral — whichever of USDC, USDT, or Fiat has the largest balance.
After repayment, your outstanding balance goes to $0. Your collateral balance and credit limit both decrease by the repayment amount, since your credit limit derives from your collateral.
You'll receive an email confirmation once the repayment completes.
Where to find the setting
The Autopay toggle is in the Current Card Statement section at the top right of the Balance and Statements page.
What happens after a successful repayment
After autopay runs, you'll receive an email showing:
| Detail | Description |
| Repayment amount | The full statement balance that was repaid |
| Collateral used | Which collateral type was deducted (e.g., USDC) |
| Previous collateral balance | Your collateral balance before repayment |
| New collateral balance | Your collateral balance after repayment |
| New credit limit | Your updated credit limit |
The repayment also appears in the Repayment History tab on the Transactions page with a reference ID, date, status, and amount.
Partial repayment
If your highest-value collateral doesn't cover the full statement balance, Reap repays as much as possible and emails you with the amount repaid, the remaining balance, the due date, and a direct link to complete the rest manually.
Normal repayment reminders apply to the remaining balance.
Example: Your statement is $10,000. Your USDC balance (highest) is $7,000. Reap auto-repays $7,000 from USDC. You receive an alert about the remaining $3,000 with a link to repay.
Important: The system does not cascade to other collateral types. If USDC is your highest-value collateral and it's insufficient, the system will not automatically pull from USDT or Fiat to cover the rest.
How to turn off autopay
- Go to the Balance and Statements page → Current Card Statement section.
- Toggle Autopay to OFF.
- Confirm in the pop-up that you'll need to make manual repayments going forward to avoid late fees.
You can re-enable auto-repay at any time. It takes effect starting from your next statement cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does auto-repay affect my credit limit?
Yes. Your collateral balance and credit limit both decrease by the repayment amount. Your outstanding balance goes to $0, so your available credit reflects the new, lower credit limit.
What if I have both USDC and USDT?
The system repays from whichever has the highest balance. If your USDC is $5,000 and USDT is $3,000, Reap repays from USDC. It does not cascade to USDT if USDC is insufficient — you'll get an alert for the remaining balance.
Can I choose which collateral to repay from?
Not currently. The system automatically selects the highest-value collateral. Choosing a preferred collateral source is planned for a future release.
Is the setting per entity or org-wide?
Per entity. Each entity within your organization can enable or disable auto-repay independently. One entity turning it off does not affect others.
I just deposited collateral for the first time. Is auto-repay on?
Yes. Auto-repay is enabled by default when you deposit collateral. You'll see a confirmation during the deposit flow with a link to settings if you prefer to disable it.
Can I still repay manually with auto-repay enabled?
Yes. You can make a manual repayment via crypto transfer at any time, even with auto-repay on. If you prefer to handle repayments entirely yourself, turn off auto-repay in the Payment Information section and continue with manual repayments.
Can I turn auto-repay back on after disabling it?
Yes. Toggle it back to ON in the Payment Information section. It takes effect from your next statement cycle.
