Product: Reap API (Payment API)
Who this is for: Finance and operations teams responsible for funding a payments program on Reap.
What you will learn: What the Treasury is, how to read your balances, how to add funds, and how to track money moving through it.
Overview
The Treasury is your manager account's own wallet, and the funding pool sitting behind every managed account you run.
Reap creates independent, segregated wallets: one for your manager account, and a separate wallet for each managed account. Funds are never pooled. The Treasury shows the balances and transaction history of your manager account specifically, not a combined view across your program.
What can you see on the Treasury page?
Your balances appear at the top, held in USDC and USDT, each on its own card. Every card shows two figures:
- The balance, meaning everything the Treasury holds in that currency
- The available amount, meaning what you can use right now
These are usually the same. Where they differ, check why before planning a transfer.
How do I add funds to the Treasury?
- Select Add funds on the balance you want to top up, then:
- Choose the network you will send on. Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), Solana (SPL) and Polygon PoS (ERC-20) are supported.
- Copy the wallet address, or scan the QR code. Both appear only once you have selected a network, and the address is unique to your account.
- Send your funds.
⚠️ Before you send:
- Only send USDC or USDT to this address. Sending any other asset may result in the loss of your funds.
- The minimum top up is 2 USDC/USDT. Anything below that will not be credited.
- Transfers can take up to 5 minutes to appear in your account.
How do I track money moving through the Treasury?
Treasury transactions, below your balances, records every movement of money through your manager account wallet.
Each row shows:
- Date — when the movement happened
- Type — what kind of movement it was
- Description — the detail behind it, such as the currency and network a deposit arrived on, or the managed account a transfer went to
- Amount — the value, shown as a credit for money in and a debit for money out
These types of movement appear:
| Type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Fund In | Money arriving into your Treasury, with the currency and network named in the description |
| Internal Transfer | Money moving between your Treasury and one of your managed accounts, with that account named in the description |
Date, Type and Amount can each be sorted. Use Filters to narrow the list, and Export to download it.
Export is the usual route for reconciliation, since the record shows what moved, when, and where it went.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my customers' funds held together with mine?
No. Reap creates independent, segregated wallets: one for your manager account and an individual wallet for each managed account.
What is the difference between my balance and my available amount?
The balance is everything the Treasury holds in that currency. The available amount is what you can use right now. Plan against the available figure.
How do I see where my funds have gone?
Treasury transactions lists every movement, including which managed account each internal transfer went to. Use Filters to narrow the list, or export it for a period.
