User Roles That Require KYC
Some roles require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification based on their level of authority in the business:

Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO)
Anyone who owns more than 25% of the company’s shares.
Significant Controller
Anyone who has control over company decisions, even if they don’t own shares.
💡 These roles are defined as part of Reap’s compliance with regulatory standards.
Actions Limited to Verified Roles
Only verified Business Representatives, UBOs, or Significant Controllers can:
Request to increase or decrease the credit limit
Request to close the account
Where to View Role Information
You can view most role labels, like Business Owners and Significant Controllers, on the Teams page of your Reap dashboard.
Business Representatives are not labeled directly. If you’re unsure who holds this role, contact our support team for confirmation.
Updating Role Information
If your business needs to update details (like email, phone number, or name) for any verified role, contact us at hello@reap.global. Processing usually takes 5–10 working days. We may also request updated KYC documentation.
