Every Reap card has a daily spending limit, a maximum transaction ceiling set by Reap for security purposes. If your spending needs exceed this baseline, you can submit a request directly from the Reap Dashboard or mobile app.

What is the daily spending limit?
The daily spending limit is the maximum total amount your card can spend in a single day. Reap sets this limit on all cards for security reasons. If your card's total spending reaches this ceiling, any further transactions will be declined until the limit resets.
The baseline limits are:

The limit resets every day at 11:00 AM UTC.
Who can request a higher limit?
Only account members with admin permissions can request an increase to the daily spending limit, either for their own card or for their team members' cards.
How to request a higher limit
From the Reap Dashboard
- Go to the Cards page and click on the relevant card.
- Locate the daily spending limit section.

Click Request to increase limit.

Enter the requested amount and the reason for the increase.
- Submit your request.
From the Reap Mobile App
The same flow is available in the Reap mobile app, so you can submit a request on the go.

The approval timeline depends on the amount you are requesting.

Note: If the custom spend controls you have set on the card are already lower than Reap's default daily limit, you will not be able to submit a request to increase the daily spending limit.
Tracking your request status
You will receive an email notification when:
- Your card's daily spending limit has been increased.
- Your card's daily spending limit has returned to its baseline.
What if my request is urgent?
After submitting your request, contact the Reap support team and we will prioritize your case. Refer to Know who to talk to @ Reap.
Frequently asked questions
Does the daily spending limit affect Reap Pay payments?
No. Reap Pay payments funded with your Reap Card do not count toward the daily spending limit.
How do custom spend controls interact with the daily spending limit?
If you have custom spend controls set on a card, both limits apply at the same time. Whichever limit is reached first will prevent further spending for that day.
