What this article covers: How to increase your Card credit limit by depositing collateral via bank transfer (fiat) or stablecoins.
Overview
The Reap Card operates on a collateral-backed model. The more collateral you deposit, the higher your available credit. You can increase your limit at any time directly from your Reap dashboard.

Before you start
You will need:
- A user with the Admin role in your Reap Direct account.
- A bank account or crypto wallet ready to send from (for Options A and B).
Open the deposit flow
- Log in to your Reap dashboard at dashboard.reap.global.
- In the left sidebar, go to Cards > Balance & Statements..
- Click Add funds.

A new page will open with two options: Deposit with Fiat Currency or Deposit with Stablecoins. Choose the method that works for you.
Option A: Deposit with fiat currency
- Select Deposit with Fiat Currency.
- Enter the amount you want to deposit. The minimum deposit is $1. Make sure to send in the same currency as your Card balance — for example, USD if your balance is in USD, or HKD if your balance is in HKD.
- Click Make Deposit.
- Bank transfer details will appear on screen. Transfer the amount to the listed account.
- In the Remark or Note field of your bank transfer, enter the Reference ID shown on screen. This is required for your deposit to be matched to your account.
- Once you have made the transfer, tick the checkbox to confirm.
- Click I have transferred. This notifies the Reap team to begin processing.
- Click Done to close the flow.
To check the status of your deposit, find the Requested credit entry in the dashboard and click View details.
To avoid processing delays, make sure to:
- Include the Reference ID in the Remark or Note field of your bank transfer.
- Send from a bank account where the account holder name matches your registered company name in Reap.
- Click "I have transferred" to alert the Reap team.
Your deposit will be reconciled once the funds land in Reap's bank account. If any of these steps are missed, your deposit can still be processed manually, but it may take up to 2–5 business days.
Option B: Deposit with stablecoins
- Select Deposit with Stablecoins.
- Under Network, use the dropdown to select the blockchain network you want to send from.
- Read the following notes carefully before continuing:
- The minimum transfer is 2 USDC or 2 USDT. Any transfer below this amount will not be credited and is non-refundable.
- Only send native USDC or USDT. Other tokens and wrapped versions are not supported. If you send unsupported assets, see What blockchains and digital assets funds are supported? for guidance on what to do next.
- Tick the checkbox to confirm: I understand Reap's minimum transfer amount and supported assets.
- Click Make Deposit.
- A dedicated wallet address and QR code will appear. Send your stablecoins to this address using the network you selected in step 2.
Note: The rate shown for USDT is indicative. The live rate at the time your funds are used to settle a deposit, repayment, or payment is the rate that applies. Always confirm the network shown in the deposit flow matches the one you are sending from. Sending on the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds.
Other ways to increase your credit limit
In addition to depositing via the Cards page, you can also increase your credit limit by navigating from Reap Treasury or by moving funds from an existing balance in your account.
Option C: Access the deposit flow from Treasury
You can also open the same deposit flow directly from the Treasury page, without navigating to Cards > Balance & Statements:
- In the left sidebar, select Reap Treasury.

Under the Card section, click Add funds.
- Choose Deposit with Fiat Currency or Deposit with Stablecoins and follow Option A or Option B above.
Option D: Move funds from another balance to increase your credit limit
You can also increase your credit limit by redistributing funds between your General or Reap Pay treasuries without making an external deposit:
- In the left sidebar, select Reap Treasury.
- Click Move Funds.
- Select the source balance (where funds are coming from) and the destination balance (where they should go).
- Enter the amount and confirm the move.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a fiat deposit take to be credited?
If you include the Reference ID, send from a matching company bank account, and click "I have transferred", your deposit will be credited as soon as Reap receives the funds. If any step is missed, processing may take up to 2-5 business days.
How long does a stablecoin deposit take?
Stablecoin deposits are usually reconciled within a couple of minutes after the transaction is confirmed on-chain.
What is the minimum deposit amount?
For fiat deposits, the minimum is $1. For stablecoin deposits, the minimum is 2 USDC or 2 USDT. Transfers below this threshold are non-refundable.
What stablecoins are supported?
Only native USDC and USDT are supported. Do not send other tokens or wrapped versions, as they will not be attributed to your account. For a full list of supported assets and their smart contract addresses, see What blockchains and digital assets funds are supported?.
What happens if I send stablecoins on the wrong network?
Funds sent on the wrong network may be permanently lost. Always confirm that the network shown in the deposit flow matches the network you are sending from before completing the transfer.
Why hasn't my credit limit updated after a fiat deposit?
Common reasons include a missing Reference ID, a sender name that does not match your registered company name in Reap, or standard bank processing time. Check your deposit status under Requested credit > View details in the dashboard. If it has not been resolved after 2 business days, contact support.
Can I increase my credit limit from the Reap Treasury page?
Yes. The Increase credit button on the Reap Treasury page opens the same deposit flow. The steps are identical to Option A or Option B above.
