Overview

Before you start
Use this table to identify which path applies to your situation.
| Situation | What to do |
| You can still log in to your Reap account | Follow the steps under How to reset 2FA via account settings below. |
| You're locked out and can't complete the 2FA step | Follow the steps under If you're locked out below. |
| You're not sure if it's a 2FA issue or a password issue | See How do I reset my Reap Direct account password if I can't log in? |
How to reset 2FA via account settings
If you can still log in, you can disable and re-enrol 2FA directly from the dashboard - no need to contact support.
- Log in to your Reap account at dashboard.reap.global.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Account Settings.
- Scroll to the Two-step authentication (2FA) section.
- Click Disable 2FA to remove your current setup.
- To re-enroll, select your preferred authentication method: Authenticator app, Text message (SMS), or WhatsApp.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
⚠️ Disabling 2FA takes effect immediately. If your organisation requires 2FA for all members, you will be prompted to re-enrol before you can continue using your account.
If you're locked out
Try these steps before contacting support. They resolve most 2FA issues without a manual reset.
- Confirm you're using the correct login email. If you're unsure, try any other email addresses you may have used when signing up for Reap.
- Check whether it's a password issue, not a 2FA issue. If you're blocked before the 2FA step, you may need to reset your password instead. See How do I reset my Reap Direct account password if I can't log in?.
- Try recovering your authenticator app. If you still have your old device, check whether your authenticator app supports backup or cloud sync. Restoring from a backup can recover your 2FA codes without a full reset.
How to request a 2FA reset
If none of the steps above resolve the issue, contact Reap Support to request a manual 2FA reset.
You can reach support via:
- Email: hello@reap.global
- Live chat at reap.global
⚠️ Note for business accounts: Reap may require confirmation from an admin or another authorised contact at your organisation before the reset can be processed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I also can't remember my password?
If you're not sure whether you're blocked by a 2FA issue or a password issue, contact support and describe what you're seeing. The team will confirm which step you're stuck at and help you from there.
Does Reap require 2FA for all accounts?
Not by default. Admins can choose to enforce 2FA for all members of their organisation. If this setting is enabled, you'll be prompted to set up 2FA the next time you log in.
What 2FA methods does Reap support?
Reap supports three methods: Google Authenticator, Text message (SMS), and WhatsApp. You can choose your preferred method when setting up or re-enrolling.
Can I enforce 2FA for all team members?
Yes, but only the account admin can enforce 2FA on all team members. Admins can goto Settings → Company → Business Security section to turn on 2FA requirement for all team members.
