Before You Start
Before you can issue cards or let your team spend, make sure you have:
- A verified Reap business account
- Stablecoins (USDC or USDT) or fiat ready to set your credit limit.
1. Collateral & Credit Limit
Our card is a secured credit card. Before anyone can spend, you need to deposit fiat or stablecoins as collateral. The amount you deposit sets your credit limit at a 1:1 ratio - for example, depositing USD 5,000 gives your team a USD 5,000 credit limit.
See Define your credit limit by sending collateral for step-by-step instructions.
2. Team Setup
Before issuing cards, make sure the right people are on your account. As an Admin or Group Owner, you can invite team members, assign them to groups, and control their permission levels - all from the Team page
See Managing Your Team for the full step-by-step guide.
3. Virtual Cards
Once your collateral is confirmed, you can create virtual cards and start spending immediately - no physical card needed. When creating a card, you can assign it to a team member, configure spend limits, and apply time restrictions.
See How to create a Reap Card? for a full step-by-step guide
4. Physical Cards
If your team needs to spend in person, you can order a physical card. Physical cards can be ordered either from the Cards page or directly from the Team page, and can be activated once the card is in your hands.
See How to create a Reap Card? for a full step-by-step guide
5. Repayment
The card requires monthly repayment of your outstanding balance. You can repay via bank transfer or using your stablecoin collateral - both options are free.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to deposit collateral before I can use my card?
Yes. The card is a secured credit card. Your card is not active until collateral is deposited and confirmed. The amount you deposit determines your credit limit at a 1:1 ratio.
Can I use my card before the physical card arrives?
Yes. Your virtual card is active as soon as your collateral is confirmed. You can use it for online purchases immediately, or add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay for in-store spending - no physical card needed.
How long does collateral confirmation take?
This depends on the blockchain network. Once your transaction is confirmed on-chain, your credit limit is updated in the dashboard.
What stablecoins can I use as collateral?
You can deposit USDC or USDT as collateral.
Can I increase my credit limit later?
Yes. You can top up your collateral at any time to increase your credit limit. The increase takes effect once your additional deposit is confirmed.
Who can see and manage cards on my account?
Your account admin controls access. Team members only see and manage what they have been given permission to access.
I got an error when ordering a physical card. What should I do?
First, check the following:
- Make sure the delivery address is complete - street, city, postal code, and country are all required.
- Make sure the country you are shipping to is supported for physical card delivery. Not all countries are eligible, and the dashboard does not currently display an error if you enter an unsupported address. If you are unsure whether your location is supported, contact our support team before placing the order.
- Check that the cardholder has been assigned correctly and that all card settings (spend limits, expiry date) are filled in.
If the error persists after checking the above, reach out to our support team directly and include a description of the error and the step at which it occurred.
Which countries can physical cards be delivered to?
Physical cards can be delivered to a range of countries across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. However, the dashboard does not currently warn you if the delivery address you enter is not eligible for delivery. If you are ordering a physical card to a location outside of Hong Kong, Singapore, or another major APAC hub, please confirm with our support team that delivery is available to your country before placing the order.
